USFSA Teams
Novice
A team of 12 to 20 skaters. Skaters must be fourteen (14) years or younger on the preceding July 1. All skaters must have passed the pre-juvenile moves in the field test by December 1 to compete in qualifying competitions.
Intermediate
A team of 12 to 20 skaters. Skaters must be fifteen (15) years or younger on the preceding July 1. All skaters must have passed the preliminary moves in the field test by December 1 to compete in qualifying competitions.
Juvenile
A team of 12 to 20 skaters. Skaters must be eleven (11) years or younger on the preceding July 1. All skaters must have passed the pre-preliminary moves in the field test by December 1 to compete in qualifying competitions.
Junior Classic
A team of 12 to 20 skaters. Seventy-five percent (75%) must be eighteen (18) years or younger on the preceding July 1. The remaining twenty-five percent (25%) may be nineteen (19) years or older.
Preliminary
A team of 8 to 16 skaters. At least seventy-five percent (75%) of the team must be nine (9) years or younger on the preceding July 1. Up to twenty-five percent (25 %) of the team may be eleven (11) years of age or younger on the preceding July 1.
ISI Teams
Youth Formation
A team of 8 to 32 skaters. A majority of the team of skaters must be between seven (7) years and ten (10) years on the preceding July 1.
